6500.77The first aid kit did not include tape.Each home shall have antiseptic, an assortment of adhesive bandages, sterile gauze pads, tweezers, tape, scissors and syrup of Ipecac if any individual 4 years of age or younger, or an individual likely to ingest poisons, is served.Tape has been placed in the first aid kit located in the individual's home. 6500.135(b)Individual #1 wears a helmet for protection during headbanging behaviors. Individual #1 is able to request the use of the helmet as per staff. The helmet came many years ago and has been reviewed by the PCP. However, there is no current order for the helmet, assessment as to the type of helmet best suited and when the helmet should be replaced. Possibly meeting with OT for fit and use would be a good direction. The BSP should be updated with specifics for the use of the helmet.A prescription order shall be kept current.Individual #1 saw his PCP, on 7/5/34 for annual physical provided a written note documenting his recommendation for the individual to utilize the helmet including examples. Please see attachment labeled PCP Helmet Note¿ for reference. Individual #1's BSP has been updated to include information about the specific use of the helmet.
