| 6400.73(a) | At the time of the inspection, outdoor stairs leading to the entrance of the home from the parking lot did not have a railing. There were approximately 5 steps leading from the parking area to the home walkway. Outside steps exceeding two steps shall have a well secured handrail. | Each ramp, and interior stairway and outside steps exceeding two steps shall have a well-secured handrail. | The Apartment complex of 104 w chestnut street has agreed to install a handrail on the entrance steps. They plan to get it done by February 28th 2021. With too much snow on the ground at this time, they are unable to install it now. Attached emailed to Kristen is a letter from the apartment complex committing to install the handrail. |
