The upstairs bedroom light was changed and is now operable. Always Reaching Kids Ministry will ensure that rooms, hallways, interior stairways, outside steps, outside doorways, porches, ramps and fire escapes will be lighted to assure safety and to avoid accidents. These areas of lighting shall be checked once on each of 3 shifts and recorded on the Always Reaching Kids Ministry daily lighting check form. There will be two extra sets of bulbs on the premises to replace those that have expired at all times. If any area of lighting is inoperable, staff will contact the supervisor who will immediately replace the bulb or designate the staff to perform this task. The water temperature will be recorded on the Always Reaching Kids Ministry Daily Hot Water Temperature Form. If hot water temperatures are found to exceed 115°F, the supervisor will initiate the appropriate actions to adjust hot water temperatures within a range of 105°F ¿ 115°F immediately. Staff will perform a daily check to ensure that all updated and required emergency telephone numbers are displayed next to each telephone in the home with an outside line, and will record their findings on the Always Reaching Kids Ministry Daily Emergency Telephone Number Checklist. This checklist will be reviewed by management daily. If staff discovers that emergency telephone number lists are missing from any telephone in the home with an outside line, staff will immediately inform the supervisor who will repost the emergency telephone number list directly next to the telephone(s).
