6400.112(d)The fire drill completed on 10/7/20 had a recorded evacuation time of 3 minutes. This exceeds the time allowed per regulation. Individuals shall be able to evacuate the entire building, or to a fire safe area designated in writing within the past year by a fire safety expert, within 2 1/2 minutes or within the period of time specified in writing within the past year by a fire safety expert. The fire safety expert may not be an employe of the home or agency. Staff assistance shall be provided to an individual only if staff persons are always present at the home while the individual is at the home. On 10/07/2020 fire drill at Somerset took 3 minutes, there is no detail provided as to why the drill exceeded the time (behaviors/weather?). 1. It is not documented as to why the individual exceeded the time (behavior/weather?) 2. An administrative review was not conducted prior to the end of the month so the drill could be rerun. The error occurred in October so it could not be redone immediately. However immediate steps were taken to ensure the the individual is safe to evacuate 12/04/2020 Implemented
