This section was left blank. | The physical examination shall include: A signed statement that the staff person is free of communicable diseases or that the staff person has a communicable disease but is able to work in the home if specific precautions are taken that will prevent the spread of the disease to individuals. | Each employee will have a physical completed as per regulatory guidelines. Once an employee physical is completed it will be reviewed by the Director of Employee Development (DED). If a physical is not completed or requires more information, DED will work with the employee and the healthcare provider to ensure the physical is in compliance. All employees¿ personnel files have been reviewed to ensure that employee physicals have been completed as per regulations. No other physical was found to be out of compliance.
The employee¿s physical that was found to be out of compliance during the inspection will be brought back into compliance. We contacted the healthcare provider for them to review. The doctor that performed the initial physical is not available. The employee has been contacted and is returning to another healthcare provider to have the physical examination completed. This will be done by 11/05/2019.
Ongoing, the DED will monitor for compliance. All employees responsible for these checks and reviews will be trained by 11/15/2019. |
