| 6400.44(c)(2) | Staff member#1 did not have 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism. | A program specialist shall have one of the following groups of qualifications: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism. | The program specialist did in fact have 2 years work experience prior to being hired as a PS with RMPC. The program specialist was originally hired with RMPC in February of 2021 but was laid off in early 2023 and rehired in December 2023. Prior to his initial hire in 2021 the staff member had experience at Horizon House as a Residential Advisor (2005-2007) and Illuminated Hearts (2019-2021) as a field supervisor. |
