Tuberculin skin testing is required to be completed, signed and dated by a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, licensed physician, certified nurse practitioner or licensed physician's assist. | The physical examination shall be completed, signed and dated by a licensed physician, certified nurse practitioner or licensed physician's assistant. | As of 11/19/20 Review of our TB Test documentation will go through an extra step of review to ensure that the person who signed off on the test is one of the following.
¿ registered nurse
¿ licensed practical nurse,
¿ licensed physician,
¿ certified nurse practitioner
¿ licensed physician's assist
RMPC Compliance Officer/Program Specialist will be the person responsible for reviewing TB test documentation no later than 24hours of receipt of the documentation. In addition, CEO will review TB test documentation for all participants who received a TB test in the previous month.This will occur during our Monthly Review of All RMPC Documentation which occurs no later than the 15th of every month. If it is found that the TB test was not completed by any of the listed above the participant will be sent to a near Med Express or equivalent urgent care facility within 24 hours to have a TB test completed. All PS¿s and house supervisors have been trained on this new review process, and have been retrained on regulation 6400.141.(d) |
