6400.110(e)On 02/01/24, the smoke detectors on each floor were not interconnected, as they were tested at 10:18 AM on the second floor, 10:21 AM on the first floor, and 10:24 AM in the basement, and each detector sounded independently of the others. The home has 3 stories.If the home serves four or more individuals or if the home has three or more stories including the basement and attic, there shall be at least one smoke detector on each floor interconnected and audible throughout the home or an automatic fire alarm system that is audible throughout the home. The requirement for homes with three or more stories does not apply to homes licensed in accordance with this chapter prior to November 8, 1991. ¿ Purchased UL listed interconnected smoke detectors. This was completed on Friday 2/02/2024 by the Maintenance Supervisor. ¿ The Maintenance Supervisor installed and tested all interconnected smoke detectors. This was completed on Saturday 2/3/2024. They were all operable. ¿ Interconnected smoke detectors were installed on the second floor, one in each bedroom. One was installed on the first floor in the living room above the front door/start of stairs leading to the second floor. One was installed in the basement. Completed Saturday on 2/3/2024. ¿ There are smoke detectors that are not interconnected throughout the home in addition to the four interconnected smoke detectors. ¿ The Director of Residential Services updated policies and procedures to reflect the changes to the requirement of interconnected smoke detectors to be compliant with the 6400 Regulations, regarding fire safety. 6400.111(f)One 2/1/2024, the fire extinguishers located on each floor in the home were not inspected and approved by a fire safety expert. A fire extinguisher shall be inspected and approved annually by a fire safety expert. The date of the inspection shall be on the extinguisher. ¿ The Director of Residential Services contacted ABC Fire Extinguisher Inc. on Thursday 2/01/2024. On Friday 2/02/2024, PACC scheduled inspections with ABC Fire Extinguisher Inc. for Monday 2/5/2024. At 10:30AM on Monday 2/5/2024, all four Fire Extinguishers were inspected and tagged. A work order was signed by the fire safety expert and Maintenance Supervisor on Monday. Completed on 2/5/2024. ¿ An inspection report was completed by the fire safety expert on Monday 2/5/2024 ¿ Photo evidence, work order, and inspection report are attached. ¿ The Director of Residential Services updated policies and procedures to ensure that fire extinguishers are inspected and tagged annually, or upon purchase of new fire extinguishers, as per the 6400 regulations. 02/08/2024 Implemented
