A training meeting was also held on 03/05/2018 to review this with the maintenance department. Since the meeting they have visited all of the homes and have replaced all missing screens. All missing screens were replaced at Aspen on 02/26/2018. | 6400.168(a) | Direct Service worker #1 had a total score of 88 on the initial Department's Medications Administration Course completed 1/25/18. | In a home serving eight or fewer individuals, a staff person who has completed and passed the Department's Medications Administration Course is permitted to administer oral, topical and eye and ear drop prescription medications. | A memo was written and a training meeting was held on 03/05/2018 to discuss this issue. All records were double checked to ensure that all other staff have passed the medication test with a 90% or better. The trainers were all present for the training. No other records were found to be out of compliance. This staff was told she could no give medications until she was retrained and passed at 90%. Unfortunately she left the company due to a major medical issue that was discovered. [At least quarterly for 1 year, a designated management staff person shall review medication training documentation to ensure only qualified staff persons are administering medications and medication administration training is documented as required.
