| 6500.135(c) | The following medications prescribed to individual #1 did not have pharmacy labels and were not administered as prescribed.
Vitamin D -- Prescription states 1,000 units each day however 2,000 units were being administered.
Calcium -- Prescription states 600mg (take two), however 1200mg + 1,000 MG of D being administered. | A prescription medication shall be administered as prescribed. | This regulation was reviewed with the life sharer during the inspection. A script for the over-the-counter medications was obtained during individual #1's annual physical performed in January 23. The scripts were given to the pharmacy and the required label is on the prescription bottle. A picture of the medications with the appropriate label will be emailed to the designated email address.
This regulation has been reviewed with all LifeSharers and the documentation will be forwarded to the designated email address. As previously stated, one life sharer has been out of the country and will be.
