6400.67(b)There was a protruding screw tip in a cubby hole where the front door handle backs up against the wall when the door it opened into the living room. Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces shall be free of hazards.On 2/7/24, a protruding screw tip was found on the front door handle. At the time of the inspection, the screw was immediately removed by the Chief Administrative Officer (Attachment 3). On 2/12/24, the manager of the home completed a home review showing that all areas and surfaces inside the home were in good repair and that there were no hazards (Attachment 4). A training was completed on this regulation by the Chief of Supports and Services on 2/15/24 (Attachment 5). 02/22/2024 Implemented
6400.68(c)Water testing done on 7/11/23, then not again until 10/20/23 (9 days late).A home that is not connected to a public water system shall have a coliform water test by a Department of Environmental Resources¿ certified laboratory stating that the water is safe for drinking purposes at least every 3 months. Written certification of the water test shall be kept.On 2/6/24, it was discovered that the well water testing for the home had been completed 9 days late. On 10/19/23, Water sent a letter stating that this was due to a scheduling conflict, and as corrective action, testing has been scheduled for every 2 months in 2024 (Attachment 6). The dates of the appointments have been pre-scheduled for the remainder of the year. The most recent well water test was completed on 12/22/23, which was within compliance (Attachment 7). A training was completed on this regulation by the Chief of Supports and Services on 2/15/24 (Attachment 5). 02/22/2024 Implemented
