6400.66There was not an operational light in the attic.Rooms, hallways, interior stairways, outside steps, outside doorways, porches, ramps and fire escapes shall be lighted to assure safety and to avoid accidents. There is an existing operational light in the attic but the switch was not easily seen. A pull string was added to the light making it more visible and accessible. All residential staff including support staff were trained on 55 PA Code Chapter 6400.110(a)for reference when opening new homes and maintain existing homes. 6400.67(a)There was ceiling damage in the basement consistent with water damage.Floors, walls, ceilings and other surfaces shall be in good repair. The property owner is contracting with a vendor to repair the ceiling damage in the basement. Property resource department does monthly walk-throughs of all homes to look for maintenance concerns. All repairs are either done by Peaceful Living or depending on the lease reported to the property owner for repair.
