Individual #1's primary physician felt that he did not need a prostate exam due to his advanced age. A second opinion was obtained on 12/24/12. The regulation concerning the importance of obtaining a prostate exam was explained to this physician. The prostate examination was completed and was benign. The requirement of obtaining a yearly prostate examination for men age 40 and older was reiterated to the management and wellness staff.
