The agency is looking for agency to have staff receive CPR/First Aid training. | Program specialists and direct service workers and at least one person in a vehicle while individuals are being transported by the home shall be trained before working with individuals in first aid techniques. | All employees have received First aid, Heimlich techniques and CPR training by a trainer certified by the American Heart Association. The current issue is that the training center this trainer was trained at is no longer able to provide the certificates of completion. A new training center is being idenfited to ensure that all employees receive certificates of completion when attending their First aid, Heimlich techniques and CPR training. All employees will receive their annual First aid, Heimlich techniques and CPR training by 7/1/2023 to remain in compliance with their annual training. |
