6400.32Individual #1 had a video monitor in her bedroom for staff to observe her. This violates her right to privacy. An individual may not be deprived of rights. ID program director contacted all homes and program specialists on 9.10.14 to inform them that all use of any video monitors must cease immediately. Individual 1 had a restrictive plan meeting on 10/7/14 so that use of the monitor could resume for health and safety reasons. A waiver for individual 1 was submitted on 9.24.14 (see attachment H). No response to this waiver has been given as of 2.6.15. Executive Director has contacted the State on 2 occasions about the waiver.
