| 6400.46(g) | Direct service worker #1's most recent annual fire safety training was completed on 11/28/17. The previous annual fire safety training was completed on 11/07/16. | Program specialists and direct service workers shall be trained annually by a fire safety expert in the training areas specified in subsection (f). | In addition to the pre-service fire training and annual fire safety training we will add or make available a second training for all residential staff. The program managers will require staff to watch a fire safety video during one of the monthly house meetings. All staff will sign off on a fire training form and those forms will be stored in their in-service files. A master training syllabus will be put in place to ensure that all staff meet the required annually training. The program managers will be required to check the training syllabus at the beginning of each month, this will help them distinguish which house meetings would be required to add the fire safety video to the meeting agenda. [Within 30 days, the CEO or designee shall develop and implement a tracking system to ensure all staff persons are trained annually in all required areas of fire safety as per 6400.46(f). Immediately, the CEO or designee shall audit the aforementioned training video to ensure all required areas in 6400.46(f) are included.
