The provider will ensure that the medication or empty medication containers are disposed of according to policy. 2. Full immediate correction occurred as the medication was locked until such time that it was transferred via locked container to office for proper disposal. 3. To prevent recurrence of this issue, Site Supervisors will ensure timely and correct disposal of all medications and empty containers according to policy. Program Specialist/Nursing will complete routine monthly review of all MAR and MMR documents to compare and ensure that disposal has occurred. 4.
