6400.110(e) | The home has three stories including the basement, floor floor and second floor and does not have an interconnected smoke detector on each floor of the home. | If the home serves four or more individuals or if the home has three or more stories including the basement and attic, there shall be at least one smoke detector on each floor interconnected and audible throughout the home or an automatic fire alarm system that is audible throughout the home. The requirement for homes with three or more stories does not apply to homes licensed in accordance with this chapter prior to November 8, 1991. | On August 2, 2016 interconnected smoke detectors were installed at 697 Gasteiger Road, Meadville Pa 16335. Suzanne Mudger, Program Coordinator, installed the smoke detectors. Suzanne Mudger was provided the regulation 6400.110(e) and trained on the importance of compliance by Tina Hoepfl on July 28th, 2016. This training has been kept in Suzanne's personnel file.[At least weekly for 1 month after receipt of plan of correction and continuing at least quarterly, the program coordinator or designated staff person shall test the interconnected smoke detectors to ensure they are operable and audible throughout the home. Documentation of testing shall be kept and reviewed by the program specialist to ensure completion and there is at least one smoke detector on each floor interconnected an audible throughout the home.
