| 6500.132(a) | Life Sharing Provider #1 administered Benztropine 2mg tablet, take one tablet by mouth twice a day from 3/1/2021 to 3/9/2021 to Individual #1. Life Sharing Provider #1 is not qualified to administer medications. | Staff persons or others who are qualified to administer medications as specified in subsection (b) may provide medication administration for an individual who is unable to self-administer the individual's prescribed medication. | The program specialist registered each family living provider to complete the modified medication administration course. The course was completed and all certificates received in a timely fashion. Training will be completed again in two years. Any new family living providers will receive training as well. The program director created a chart to keep track of due dates for the modified medication administration course. Supporting documentation attached. |
