6400.110(f)The bed shaker in Individual #1's bedroom was not operable at the time of the inspection. The individual is deaf and unable to hear smoke detectors or fire alarms. There was an operable strobe in the bedroom hallway but it was not within view of the individual's bedroom, and there was not a strobe in the individual's bedroom. If one or more individuals or staff persons are not able to hear the smoke detector or fire alarm system, all smoke detectors and fire alarms shall be equipped so that each person with a hearing impairment will be alerted in the event of a fire. The bed shaker at this location at this location had a loose wire which was fixed and in functioning order on 4/17/2019. Each location receives a monthly fire inspection by our Quality Assurance Auditor. A check to ensure appropriate function of this bed shaker will be added to this inspection. Any issues or concerns with the function of this bed shaker will be addressed immediately by the Keystone Community Resources Maintenance Department. 04/17/2019 Implemented
