6400.68(b) | The hot water temperature measured 126.8°F at 10:12AM at the shower in the first floor bathroom located in the back of home. | Hot water temperatures in bathtubs and showers may not exceed 120°F. | POC immediately implemented on 2/4/19 and pictures taken that water valve was lowered. Temp today at 110.3. POC includes daily checks for 2 weeks, weekly checks for 1 month and monthly checks thereafter on the fire drill form. Pictures received and sent to Program Director and Director of Compliance via email on 2/4/19. All staff were trained on regulation by 2/7/19. Becky, Dir of Compliance, has all documents for proof. [Immediately and continuing at least monthly a staff person trained in accurately measuring, documenting and adjusting procedures of hot water temperatures shall measure the hot water temperature in all bathtubs and showers in all community homes to ensure the hot water temperature in all bathtubs and showers does not exceed 120°F. If at any time the hot water temperature exceeds 120°F, aforementioned increased measuring and training shall be implemented. Documentation of all hot water temperatures shall be kept and reviewed at least quarterly by a designated management staff person to ensure completion and that hot water temperatures in bathtubs and showers do not exceed 120°F.
