The current Individual Support Plan (ISP) updated on 5/31/2023 and the annual assessment completed on 10/07/2022, document that Individual #3 has a hearing deficit and requires bed alarms/shakers to be alerted in the event of a fire. The bed alarm/shaker located in Individual #3's bedroom was not operable at the time of the inspection. | The home and the agency shall implement the individual plan, including revisions. | Individual JS did not return to the Lifesharing home following the licensing exit interview. JS was placed on Emergency Respite in an HRC CLA. The CLA has an interconnected fire alarm system. The bedroom that JS was placed in has a smoke detector in the room as well as a flashing strobe light that activates with the alarm system. There are also awake staff in the CLA at all times that will assist individual JS in evacuating the CLA. A new bed shaker was ordered and will be installed upon receipt. Fire drill was conducted on 8/18/2023 at the CLA. John exited independently and in the allotted time. |
