| Individual had appointment with a new dentist for cleaning on 11/9/12 without sedation; cleaning was unsuccessful due to agitation. Individual had second appointment with same dentist with sedation (2mg Ativan) on 11/16/12; cleaning was again unsuccessful due to agitation. Dentist stated that cleaning with general anesthesia is needed, and first available appointment is in March 2013. Third appointment was made with another dentist on 12/3/12 with individual receiving 4mg Ativan sedation; attempt at cleaning was again unsuccessful due to agitation. Dentist recommended cleaning under general anesthesia. Individual is on a wait list for an appointment with general anesthesia, but first available appointment remains in March 2013 at this time. We will continue efforts to complete the cleaning as soon as possible. |
