Welcome to the HCSIS Provider Website

HCSIS Provider Access is an opportunity for individuals and organizations to use the Home and Community Services Information System (HCSIS) to sign up with the Offices of Developmental Programs (ODP), Social Programs (OSP), Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) and/or Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS) in order to provide Home and Community-Based Services to individuals in Pennsylvania. This application is intended exclusively to record information about providers of services funded and/or licensed by the above offices. This online application captures basic demographic information, provider organizational information, and service/location data for services provided under ODP, OSP, OCDEL and OMHSAS. Only providers that have signed-up and recorded services in HCSIS will be eligible to provide and receive payment for these services. Providers may return at any time to update their information. Using the links below, providers can review service definition documentation and access job aids useful for updating and reviewing provider information in the Provider Access website and in HCSIS. These documents are in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and requires the Adobe Acrobat Viewer to read.

PROMISeTM Planned Maintenance Activity for Nov 20-22, 2015

Please be aware that PROMISeTM will be unavailable due to an extended system outage from 6:00 PM, Friday, 11/20/15 thru 12:00 noon, Sunday, 11/22/15. This outage is necessary to migrate all PROMISeTM applications to a new datacenter environment. Attention: Supports/Service Coordination Organizations:

The purpose of this communication is to provide SCOs with an awareness of the last HCSIS claim notes sweep and when SCOs can bill claims directly to PROMISe.

As many of you are aware, through various communications and trainings, the TCM/TSM claim submission HCSIS batch process, will be decommissioned, and the SCOs will be required to bill claims directly to PROMISe. Previously, it was communicated that the last sweep would be 11/4/2015 but it was changed to 11/2/2015.

To assist the SCOs in preparing for this change, the following activity timelines are provided:

- Last HCSIS sweep of claim notes to PROMISe will occur on 11/2/2015. This sweep will contain billable notes for dates of contact prior to, and entered into HCSIS by, 11/01/15

- On 11/2/2015, the 440 Day edit will no longer be active in HCSIS

- SCOs can submit claims directly to PROMISe starting 11/16/2015
